Every artist needs a studio, and mine's just happens to be my closet. Now before you Ha Ha against the wall, let me say that it is a rather large walk-in closet with three shelves and lots of creative space, not to mention storage for all my pens, papers, books, more books, etc... I could go on and on.
On the down side, there is no natural light since there isn't a window and it can get hot up in here especially during the summer. And too bad there is only one outlet which is in the hallway. So unfortunately I have to .... dare I say .... re-engineer er reroute things with extension cords here and there just to get it all done.
No, I don't have any t shirts or ripped jeans batting me in the head as I work because I do have two other sliding door closets adjacent to this one in which to hang my wardrobe.
Yes, my studio space does have its ups and downs and hots and colds, but I could care less since I finally have a real creative space to call my own. So I'm not complaining. Just busy working away here in Studio 64.
