Snow rules the day and I was thinking...
about snowflakes.

Like so many stars in heaven
and far from home.
A myriad of matchless shapes
in a collective blanket of white
covering the amber grasses
for a little while.
Adding beauty to this realm
in a startling way.
And I was thinking...
That every snowflake is a sign from the Creator
to remind each of us just how unique we really are
and inside each soul lies an infinity of possibilities.
And I was thinking about a favorite quote by William Blake--
"To see a world in a grain of sand
and heaven in a wildflower
hold infinity in the palm of your hand
and eternity in an hour."

And I was thinking about thumbprints...
And I was thinking about snowflakes...
