Since I'm a major procrastinator, I'm just getting around to my resolutions. And here they are-- the ones I can publicly admit to...
First off , I want to win the award for "non-procrastinator of the year"... and my efforts have gone off smashingly well since all the pretty papers are still living and breathing happily under my tree, which by the way is still standing.
Lately I've been trying to save money and I did well...until the holidays hit...Yeah I was livin large and I have the Uggs to prove it. I still plan to reach my money goal ---with a fury--so-- I will be living small, as small as I can ... for the next four months... Can I get a Ha!
Which brings me to Starbucks (and I run away fast) because I am a fan. Big--Time...but I resolve only to visit that comfy cozy space on a once a week basis...Meanwhile I will make my own Venti Cafe Mochas...which by the way --suck..."Ain't nothin like the real thing ba-by..."
And the real thing for me is writing and drawing so I do resolve to write and draw everyday (unless I'm shopping which I shouldn't be since, I'm saving so much money-- right?) Get down!
Less clutter--need I say more?
I am trying to accept the fact that wrinkles are a part of life.. my life.. my face...permanent etchings of all the years...but I will take mo better care of my skin...and my hair...less banana clips and pony tails ...Extract as many bad hair days as possible from my mirror!
I will continue the low carb way of life (unless I am tempted by a Krispy Kreme chocolate iced donut). Even writing it makes my glucose rise.
I will try to walk everyday. Note the "try to" because I am not such a freak that I will go out in sub-zero weather just to make myself sweat-- which would take 5 times longer anyway. Me and the cold don't mix, and me and the cold and the exercise don't even speak...Even if it is walking...
Those, my pretties, are my public resolutions...The rest I will keep to myself...so I will even have a self.
Holler!

Uggs are great boots. Gretchen and I have been wearing them for years.
When you walk into Starbucks on a cold day with your Uggs and order a Grande Mocha, you know you are definitely at the top of the food chain!
Keep on writing and drawing, just ignore the wrinkles. If you are doing what makes you happy, your smile will draw everyone's attention, not your wrinkles.

My first read of your entry tricked me, and I thought you said you were going FOR the award of procrastinator of the year.
I like the sketches. Do you ever draw other people? A sketchblog likeness of me might be just the thing.

Don't worry too much about wrinkles until you get to be my age (41) and then worry--in the mean time just have fun!
A Retro Girl caricature? I could dig that :) .

I love wearing flip flops that has a little height, for running errands and just walking around the house. And and it is hard for me to find the ones that don't hurt the space between my big toe and second toe. This Walkstar seems interesting..
