Okay I just posted a sketch on my drawing blog called Circles and my little old blog is no..where to..be found. Note that I haven't posted there for weeks. But that's no reason to up and disappear. If non posting was the criteria then half the web would be gone in a puff of smoke. My "page cannot be displayed".. And I'm just wondering, WHAT'S UP with that?

Hi J -
I am looking forward to checking out the link thanks.
I think I am seeing a big hole in the blogosphere. Keeping track of my comments on other weblogs is a real pain and very hard to do on most of the weblogs in existence today. I have seen one weblog package that has the ability to alert me by email when a comment I have left gets a response. But right now after getting your comment on my website and coming here to look for my comment you referenced I am stumped as to how I would easily find it on typepad.
This post probably did not make much sense but I feel a rant brewing for my next weblog entry. Hopefully after more thought I can flesh it out and make it understandable.
Thanks

I posted this on my blog about a week ago (the problems continued, however):
"It wasn't just me... I had a really slow connection yesterday, so did a few other bloggers. Just as I was posting, [the following] announcement appeared:
-------------------------------------------------
'TypePad is currently undergoing hardware maintenance to repair the sluggishness that you may have experienced when loading your weblogs over the past 24 hours.
What happened?
The sluggishness was caused by a hardware issue on of our storage servers. Because our systems are set up to be redundant, your web sites were never down, but performance was impacted. To fix it, we'll be replacing the faulty hard drive with a replacement, and we'll be working to strengthen our systems for further redundancy for the future.
What does this mean for existing TypePad users?
Because the sluggishness of the last 24 hours is not up to our standard of service for TypePad, we'll be crediting all TypePad accounts with 3 free days of service. If you're a trial user, your trial will be extended by 3 days; if you're a paying subscriber, your billing date will be extended by 3 days.
This credit will take place depending on your status (trial versus paying) as of March 5, 2004.
How long will this downtime last?
Because we'd like to remedy this situation as soon as possible for our subscribers and their readers, we're planning for an unscheduled downtime. The hardware fix will require 45 minutes of downtime and is scheduled for 12:45-1:30am Pacific time (February 26, 2004).
Thanks again for your patience and understanding and, again, we apologize for this inconvenience.
Six Apart'
