pretzel*ed

Today I am twisted into a hot pretzel.
Do this, do that.
Go here, stop there.
Where?
is my laid back life
like I'm looking for..
And now I'm heated
cause it was cold out
and I cut the heater on
and now I'm about to toast
and I cannot relax
in a self induced wave of heat.
I should be banished to
a tub of fragrant water
until I unwind.
But first I have to cool off.
