Crazy No More- 9

Ha Ha! It's Friday and normally I would make a mean face and rant. But I can't rant if a rant's not in me. I skipped my weekly want for the last two three weeks now. One I never even published because it wasn't angry enough. So I guess the rant is dead. for now.. Guess I'm not as crrazy as I used to be. Or as angry.. ha ha I'm never hardly angry and lately I'm more in melancholy mode and I'm sure no one wants to hear that. So I'll spare you.
for now..
I'm going for coffee.. that should perk me up!

Where do I go to get my money back? For this metallic blue finger nail polish that I paid close to three dollars for? I thought it was the
aQUA bLUE cHROME that I love to wear...
but I was duped.
It was actually aQUAMARINE bLUE and it is yuck! And who knew there could be two shades of a metallic blue made by the same company.. Metallic is cool but somehow I didn't think cool enough to warrant two shades of one color. But I should have used my brain and looked around at all those lovely umpteen shades of red by every other makeup line and I should have used my brain and read the name before I bought it. So now I guess I'm stuck with it and.. Stuck in an aquamarine world of loathing.. I guess I stuck it to myself.. I think I'll only wear it on my toenails in winter... then at least I won't feel like I wasted my money.. again? Um... Relapse. Spell it backwards.espaler.. Yea, I think I like that better.

Rant cause I must be crazy grabbing a hairbrush and singing. What I need to do is.. something with this hair. I think a trip to the salon is in order. Dry weather makes my super dry hair even dire drier. With winter and all the hats, my hair has been hiding, sometimes peeking underneath the edge of a cap. I can't mention the fact that I love baseball caps, scarves, wool, skier.. You name it.. I have it.. and.. I wear it. And I'm just about wearing it out. But what a fool am I to wear a winter cap in 50 degree weather. So I think my hairdresser will welcome me back with open arms. From now on when I grab a brush, somebody make me hush and do a thing or two with my hair. Cause you know I'm "Keeping it Pretty."

Ranting.. today about all the snow that has decided to glue itself onto the sidewalk, car, and my neon blue lawn chair .. the one that I had the chance to relax in, under the sun, not less than a couple of days ago. Guess I was fooled.. into thinking that spring was right around the corner. At least the snow is light and fluffy and easy to shovel. I wish I could shovel all of my clutter off into a neat little pile somewhere.. Am trying! And even though I continue to get rid of stuff I still see.. clutter.. albeit less of it. Right now my brain is feeling cluttered because I'm about to drive off and out into the streets in less than an hour only after cleaning my windshield, warming up the car, and getting ready to brave it. I wish I was brave when it comes to the snow.. lying aside the road and the mist rising from the pavement. I wish it was spring.

12:30 AM. Okay.. One quick post before I go to bed. And off into Dream Land. And I guess this is my rant.. the one that I was supposed to post yesterday.. guess I just missed the deadline. Blah.. But I'll rant anyway.
#1 I just about only posted every other day this week. Blah.. #2 I've gone to bed so late every night. Believe me, this is not late.. for me. But I guess the accumulation of hours has taken its toll.. Blah. # 3 I've cranked out so many pictures that my wrist is sore.. tore? Blah.. # 4 I've been out of the loop and haven't made my rounds-- to the blogs I like to read. Blah..

One the plus side.. I bought a new jump drive for my computer. Yea!! Which means I've already consumed 256 megs on my last jump drive. Blah.. At this rate I may have to buy a new one each month. So much for my budget. What budget? The running one in my head, that registers every time I wanna shop. Blah.. I learned how to load sketches into my paint program so I can color them without having to ..Blah.. re-draw them with the mouse. Yea!! Also I learned some new techniques on masking, drawing, and painting. No more bootleg moves for me. Now maybe I can do it-to it. Yea..

Time to sign off so I can crank out one more picture and maybe get to bed before 2. Blah.. I guess I should draw a sketch but I'm too tired to do all the to-do to post it. So I guess I shall post a falling sleep picture when I wake up. Blah!!

Coffee Anyone?

Today is Rant Day and what better way to rant than with a friend. We went for coffee... not Starbucks... at a local shop. We sat around for a little over an hour and cleaned out the week. It was nice to just kick it in a cozy little coffee house -- the aroma, the chatter, the newspapers, the people. Extreme brunch i.e. more breakfast than lunch.. extremely light on the meal.. heavy on the chatting. Okay so here's the deal.. Eavesdropping on my own conversation.. my side anyway...

At the counter...
Mocha.
Large.
Whipped cream.
Is that chocolate scone low carb?
Not! Ha!
(We ate it anyway.)
After--
we split it.

At the table...
Can't believe it's February... almost March.
It was warmer than expected.
The week flew.
Bye.
We gotta walk.

Girl's Gone Crazy 3

Today is Rant Day where I blah blah blah about... what-ever. This week was bad for shopping (been there, done that) twice.. Two times in the store and three times in this blog. I will never try that one again.
This week also spawned procrastination. I had, what I like to call, a super fine at Blockbusters cause I didn't return my videos on time. I'd like to blame it on the snow.. but that's not entirely so... Cause they were already so overdue the first time I tried to return them... Yes, as soon as I got my car out on the road, a monster snowstorm decided to make its move and I had to turn off on the next exit. And all I can say is "I tried." Better luck the second time. I finally did return them and being late doesn't happen too often... but when it does I start thinking about what I could have bought with the money I had to pay for that dreaded super fine. And for sure it was super. Like I said there was snow.. the most snow we've had all winter. Add to that sub zero temps and it makes a nice toasty setting for reading a cache of new books and watching overdue videos. Super!

Today is Rant Day where I blah blah blah about... what-ever. And whatever happened to all the time I spent with books? Yeah, I finally did some real reading and it's about time. I think I bought about 15 books over the holidays and I have yet to read one from cover to cover... this from a girl known to cover the whole thing in less than a few hours. But I haven't had a few hours lately.

Lately, I've decided to actually start wearing the clothes I bought before, during, and after the holiday rush. I figure why just let them hang around and basically do nothing except make my closet look pretty. Better idea... How about making me look pretty? Maybe I have 2 or 3 left that still have tags. I mean once I bond with a comfy shirt I live in it for days. But that's about as dirty as it gets.

Talk about dirty...the groundhogs were booed back into their holes by a certain group of booers that shall remain nameless. But I'll tell you what, more than one groundhog sure knew what he was prognosticating about because this week a freight train of snow rolled through in slow mo--tion. And I wonder why I keep writing about the weather and yesterday the wind was mean... and I got rid of 20 more things... and this month is dashing by like.. dare I say --a groundhog?

Today is Rant Day where I blah blah blah about whatever doesn't go my way. Yeah meet Mean Me and Each Friday I will post my latest rant...and prepare to be moved. Can you say enough already?
This as I proceed to publish my first.
RANT.
This week there was snow, icy roads, and a great excuse for me not to take my Uggs ...anywhere. Now if my street was on the "Gee we better scrape her street first" list then maybe I would zip it...but as it stands Blankety Blank Drive must be like number 100 on a list of 101...

Speaking of 101, this must be my like one hundred and second mop... and still I'm in search of a new one--capable of actually cleaning the dirt off my kitchen tile. It's not like my floor's all that big, but big enough to make me wish for sUPER mOP with octopus like tentacles that could and would lick every last drop of grease, grime, and smashed crumbs off ...at like almost light-speed.

And while I'm thinking, I could use a laundry basket that would devour all the clothes that haven't been washed in like 4 days. Bet that'll get my Uggs... moving.

Moving...my next door neighbors... and of course this big arse truck is parked in front of their place and my place and so on down Blankety Blank Drive... But I feel for them cause moving is painful... especially cleaning up the aftermath... and did I mention mops?
