Illustration Friday for Friday October 27, 2006 - Wind
Well I haven't submitted anything for Illustration Friday in quite a while. I've been so busy in the other world i.e. the other parts of my life and I'm just starting to recapture some creative time. Most of my creative time has been sucked away by my new job, but the cold hard fact is ... I need the cold hard cash. Even so I have been drawing in my notebook and I hope soon to push something to the computer. If, if... I get the time for that added cyber step. Actually I have no problem forcing myself to create, it's just finding
the time to let it drip out and of course I've found no time to
computerize it. But enough about me....
This weeks topic is "Wind." And believe me, I have a lot of wind pictures, but this one moved to the forefront of my mind. Why? Well I think it's because this was one of the first computer drawings that I ever created and I'm pretty sure that at the time I didn't have my Wacom (graphics tablet), therefore I had to draw it with the mouse. I also have special feelings for this drawing because it typifies most of my work. Pastel colors, faces, and simple lines. For some reason I can't seem to get past those three things. And as most of my work, this one is unfinished, but somehow to me it is finished. Anyway there it is, and I hope it's "Windy!"

Here is my entry for this week's Illustration Friday project. The topic is "Portrait." The image was originally posted back on Februaruy 1, 2004 as part of
