So... there was a blizzard today
and after the angry clouds crept away
this is what was left
a white fluffy blanket speeding
over the mountains
brrrr!

Hope blogging isn't seasonal.. cause I think I'm stuck in winter... or is that summer?
Think this is weather related.. inner weather.
The day started off sunny and bright.. and then the clouds moved in, just as we hit the pool. then.. Shadows ruled the day. I could see a wide slice of sunlight hovering over the prairie. And darkness came quicker than usual. It rolled across the sky with the clouds and and made a bed on the horizon. But I hear rain.. so I don't complain.

It rained incredibly yesterday and I hope everything turns green. But compared to the eighties and nineties last week it almost feels like winter here.. in the sixties. But I'm not complaining since it's gonna rain again today and we do need the rain, but I will miss the pool!
This past Sunday I went to a catered bar-b-q off the edge of the mountain. The clouds were like this and it rained showered on and off the whole time. Can you believe these photos were taken in the early afternoon. I must admit that being out in the rain, especially during an ongoing drought felt good. 
Now, yesterday it was so hot like up in the nineties ...and today it's cloudy again.. Sometimes I just don't know if I need an umbrella for rain or sun these days.. anyway.. off to the pool.
Today the clouds look like this! And even though I took this picture some time last week, it's good to know that the day is shaping up in such a beautiful way.
Today is like summer and I feel like slipping on a sun dress and picking some flowers. But all's I see are dandelions.. in the yellow stage. And I can't wait until the parachutes appear cause I love the furry white fliers. And I love to watch them ride.. on the wind. Only a few days ago last year's potted flowers were covered in snow. Just to be on the safe side, I'm waiting a couple of weeks before I run over to the local garden center to buy some more.. Flowers!
Can you believe it's gonna snow? Again. Tomorrow. And this time I'm taking pictures, just to prove that I am not some insane insomniac making it up as I go. For Real! And I ain't got a picture for this one, but believe me I will.
...fluffy clouds and big blue sky. And today is so beautiful that if I had a seashell, I think I could hear the ocean.
Snow.. makes me dys-functional. And it snowed here again last night and today. Now I know that's no excuse to not post my other cafe sketches, and I know that's no excuse to lounge all day long, but it is a good excuse to wear my favorite hat one more time before... dare I say spring.. rules.
