Today on my "drawing only" blog, I posted a quick bit about TypePad's new file upload option. And it's about time because I hated having to go to the url of the image and then type my own code for the link. The new option is so much more convenient and here's why.. and how. If you post photos or pictures check it out!
Okay. I just uploaded a sketch into my blog and all's I got was the red X. And I'm not even going to inquire, query, or ask.. Why?
Finally my drawing blog, the one that I rarely draw at is back up & so is the vanished sketch. So glad it wasn't rubbed out.
Okay I just posted a sketch on my drawing blog called Circles and my little old blog is no..where to..be found. Note that I haven't posted there for weeks. But that's no reason to up and disappear. If non posting was the criteria then half the web would be gone in a puff of smoke. My "page cannot be displayed".. And I'm just wondering, WHAT'S UP with that?
Talk about weighing a ton! My sketches do ... so I copied them to a cool new jump drive that I bought yesterday. And I'm sure my hard drive will thank me and my left brain for clearing out the clutter... Meanwhile my right brain has seized control... so more clutter will follow straight...Coming Soon to a screen near you!

I entered a contest at subfractal.net for free web hosting and I can't believe I won! I was up against nine other inspired contestants and was voted winner for the week of December 13 - 19. Each week current members pick one new member based on his/her web site. The funny thing is -- someone thought I was a guy, but I'm not. Can't you tell by reading this page? I digress...Thanks to everyone who voted for me. It's exciting to be part of what I can only describe as a creative startup for all- things -cool.

I've been trying to resolve my technical issues all day. First --by myself, clicking in circles, and then in and out of the most unhelpful help pages ever! So I clicked on a support link and landed in a chat room.
I'd been waiting --for about an hour --on a live chat --for the support person --at a web hosting service--to give me my password--which I don't ever remember changing.
Patiently waiting, like a house fly on a window pane. I wanted my information---badly.
3 times I logged in and stood by ... and 3 times my session was terminated --For like--no reason.
The messsage I received stated that an operator would be with me shortly.
-Disconnect me shortly- would have been a more appropriate response.
When I finally did get a support rep, she was very helpful. It was worth the wait. I got my information.
Then I had another question, a different problem... another wait-- but not as long--I guess rush hour was over. When I got an agent, I asked about switching hosts and DNS. This one got a wee bit testy with me because he said I was confusing him and anyway I probably was --after all that time, I was confusing myself.
I let him know in so many words that I had switched to a new hosting service because he and his colleagues were not meeting my needs over at *.*.*.com!
Anyway, so I got what I came for and now I can sleep. Eventhough I feel guilty about not drawing a sketch for today's blog. That technical cloud hanging over, drained me of my energy and now I just want to sleep ...because I feel like .... Cause I have a stuffy nose and sore throat and information overkill ... and Ahhh poor me-- I think I need a drink.
